The name refers to the North Star; and the myths of the north. It has been carefully chosen for the reason of adventure, life force, spirits and healing through movement and love. The group was founded in 1985 by Merete Klingen and Per Spildra Borg. Their aim was to make an expressive and visually strong world theatre.
