Stella Polaris was formed in 1985 by Merete Klingen and Per Spildra Borg. Stella Polaris takes us back to ancient celebrations and previous rituals of human life. In a world of jesters, storytellers, troubadours, and fakirs we want to bring back memories of our common ancestry and to trig our longing for something larger than life. Through our expressive form of theater, verging on the brink of the profane as well as the sacral, we take our audiences into a playful and caring world where magic moments between people occur.

    As a tradition, Stella Polaris goes to Steinerskole in Nesodden with a small workshop to work with graduating kids and make fantastic show before Christmas

  • Veien til det mørkeste stedet viser meg lys
    27. mars 2023 fikk Merete den brutale beskjeden om at hun hadde lungekreft med spredning. Hun var livredd og ville ikke være her lenger. Nå har det gått litt over to år, og det er på tide å sakte men sikkert finne nye måter å være i verden på.
    Nå fortsetter reisen, og livet skinner mot henne i all sin prakt!
